Kirsten Vangsness has been an American actress since the 1990s. The most notable part of her career was in the role of Penelope Garcia, in the critically acclaimed crime procedural Criminal Minds. Kirsten Vangsness also is a star of its spin-offs 'Criminal Minds Beyond Borders' and Suspect Behavior. She's appeared in many other shows on TV. In addition to her work as a television actor Vangsness also played minor roles in films after making her acting debut in 1998. Alongside her notable films, Ms. Williams also has appeared in films such as "In My Sleep", The Chicago 8 and Kill Me, Deadly. Her work has been published on the Los Angeles Times. As well as a playwright she wrote 3 episodes for Criminal Minds. She is often able to rescue and help rehabilitate abandoned or injured cats.
